The ISDA will be hosting an online workshop for students and teachers on February 28th from 10:00am ET to 1:00pm ET.
This workshop will feature lessons and practices on the fundamentals of public speaking and argumentation and will provide an introduction to the ISDA offerings from top teachers!

Duration: 12 hours · 6 weeks or 4 days
Format: Hybrid (live + asynchronous)
Purpose:
Certifies a designated faculty member or administrator to launch and lead speech and debate programs that meet international standards of excellence.
Key Learning Areas - Introduction to ISDA & Global Formats (Impromptu, Original Oratory, Extemp, World Schools, Public Forum)
- Foundations of Debate Pedagogy and Classroom Integration
- Curriculum and Practice Design
- Coaching Techniques and Feedback Strategies
- Tournament Logistics, Judging, and Ethics
- Capstone: 4-Week Implementation Plan for School or Club Program

ISDA PUblic Forum Intensive
ISDA PUblic Forum Intensive
Join us for the ISDA Global Public Forum Intensive, a virtual debate camp tailored for international students competing in Public Forum Debate. The ISDA brings together top debate minds from the US including college professors, college debate directors, and expert PF coaches and strategists. Public Forum is the most popular format in the US and the largest event at the TOC making skill development in this format highly valuable.
This workshop will include both core and advanced lessons and will feature renowned guest lecturers from powerhouse debate institutions like Harvard University and Emory University.
When: July 13-18, 2026 - 8:00pm ET - 12:00am ET. *Friendly for Asian timezones.
